The entrance at Desolation Wilderness comes with potable water, restrooms, and a store that sells meal worms and salmon eggs.

Echo Lake Chalet is a great place to dial in, refresh your gear and sample the selection's of hiker food and family camping gear.

During the summer season starting from mid July Echo Lake Chalet Store and Marina
offers a Boat Taxi Service 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM $14.00 Per Person.
Plan to be back at the dock by 4:30 PM.
