I am going SOBO on the John Muir and Pacific Crest Trail to resupply at Lake Edison Vermillion Resort I decided to go through Goodall Pass just under 11,000' Elevation dropping down to 7,700 Elevation to the lake shore Store and Cafe of VVR.

The Store had everything I needed for Five nights and a day.

I got in at VVR about 4:30 PM

Hurried into the store to gather my supplies total cost was $70.00.

That's not a bad amount for the days that are ahead of me.

The next resupply will be in 85 Miles at Kearsarge Pass where I will be dropping down to the town of Independence California

I will be heading out tomorrow morning to the trail to start up the next up 85 Miles of Sierra Passes.

Pinchot Pass, Muir Pass, Mather Pass, Glen Pass and Forester Pass.

I am setting my way points to about 15 miles per day.

Hopefully to stage each of my tent sites as close to the Base of the Passes for a cool morning ascent.

I forgot to mention that I stopped off at Reds Meadows to Charge my Batteries and grab a Milk Shake at the Cafe.

Reds Meadows store and cafe is located at the Devil's Post Pile National Monument at Mammoth Lakes.

The Store and Cafe offers hikers Hot Showers and Laundry.

There has been hundreds of hikers heading north to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail and hundreds of hikers heading South on the John Muir Trail to Mount Whitney.

The Journey I am currently doing is 500 Miles of the Sierra including the Tahoe Rim Trail.

This hike has defiantly dialed my entire being into a whole different reality.

There has been a lot of work.

Emotionally Physically and Mentally.

I definately found out that I was not in the best of shape for a walk like this.

I highly recommend anyone who is thinking to hike the Sierra to keep active and pre-train before heading out there.

People have been kind helpful and considerate to the needs of others.

I will be signing off for now I will be checking back in when I arrive in the town of Independence California.
