Wednesday July 23rd 2025:
A Starbucks Dark Roast waiting for the Yosemite Transportation at the Shiloh Inn bus stop.
I spent three zeros in Mammoth mostly on getting my Data storage and Media Files in order for the final section of the High Sierra -Lake Tahoe to Mount Whitney Hike.
I will be Heading back up Tioga Pass to Toulumne Meadows Pacific Crest Trail Head.
I will be hiking in about 9 Miles to the base of Donahue Pass.
My next stop for resupply will be at VVR
With a short snack stop at Reds Meadows Store.

You are probably wondering how are you posting pictures before arriving to these locations ?
The Pictures are from the PCT Class of 2015 and PCT Class of 2020

I spent three nights behind the Ranger Station near Shady Rest Camp Ground for free. There is a wall outlet at the entrance of the old wooden cabin.
Note: Shady Rest Campground in Mammoth California does not have a Hike & Bike campsite or Showers.
Hikers can find showers across the street from Shady Rest Camp Ground at The RV Campground.
Cost $10.00 unlimited hot water.
The town of Mammoth Has a new Laundromat 3343 Main St Mammoth Lakes. They do not have a restroom to change out of dirty hiking clothes.
For a place to change out gear next door to the Laundromat there is the Black Velvet Coffee Roaster that has a large restroom for changing. Black Velvet Coffee Roaster are hiker friendly.
For those looking for a awesome Apple Strudel there is a Shea Schat's Bakery next door.

I have been preparing for dialogue with John Muir Hikers.
Since leaving Lake Tahoe Rim Trail I have had no conversation along side other hikers heading SOBO on the Pacific Crest Trail.
There has been hundreds of hikers heading the other way.
A lot of fly by's, how are you, have a great hike.
Going into Yosemite there will be waves of John Muir Hikers all the way to Mount Whitney.
Before my bus gets here I will leave on this note.
Depending on Wi-Fi I will not be posting any blogs until either VVR or Independence or Lone Pine.
Thanks for reading
