Here we go back to the last portion of the Sierra 500 Kearsarge Pass to Mount Whitney

It is morning I am listening the sounds of Owens Valley. There is a cold Creek rushing down the hill I know it is cold because of its source.

I set up my tent last night on Sun Baked Desert Clay, there is Sage brush and tumble weed. I thought to myself Lone Ranger was filmed not far from here. Alot of classic American Westerns where made.

I had to wait until midnight for the heated clay under me to negotiate with cool air.

I am heading back up to the trail to finish the last portion of 500 Miles of the Sierra.
